Spotted a wrong number?

If a coverage rate, bag yield, board width, or other constant does not match the manufacturer's current data sheet — or if a source link is dead — say which calculator and which constant. Include the document or URL you are looking at when you can. Corrections are the most useful mail this site gets: the number gets fixed and the verified date on the sources block is updated.

Calculator requests

Suggest a materials takeoff you actually need. The useful requests name the material, the unit you buy it in, and what you are trying to order. Cost/labor estimators and medical, tax, or legal calculators are out of scope for this site.

What I cannot do by email

I cannot approve a local building detail, size a structural member, or certify that a pour or assembly meets code. Every result here is an estimate for quantity planning — check it against your own takeoff and the product instructions for the materials you buy.
